Our final Wine of the Month for the year: Passimiento, Baglio Gibellina, Sicily 2020

Bright, rich red berry fruits on the nose. The palate is warm and full bodied with a lovely freshness and smooth yet grippy tannins. This rustic and hearty wine from the Baglio Gibellina vineyard in Sicily, Italy is perfectly paired with Lamb, Beef, Pasta and mild cheeses. Being surrounded by hills and mountains the wine receives a rich and elegant taste from the clay and volcanic soils. There a limited yields of this particular wine so it is very special, one we think is perfect for the Christmas period.
